Pilgrim Manor Foundation / Compassionate Care
The Pilgrim Manor Foundation was established in 1998 as the fundraising and advocacy arm of Pilgrim Manor Retirement Community.
The Foundation's primary purpose is to raise funds to help cover the cost of annual Compassionate Care for long term residents who have outlived or depleted their personal financial resources. In addition, the Foundation also raises money for programming and expanded services outside the operations budget, and for capital improvements.
A licensed 501c3 charitable organization, the Foundation accepts gifts of cash, appreciated assets, life insurance, bequests, and memorial and tribute gifts. Through our partnership with the United Church Foundation, the Pilgrim Manor Foundation can offer charitable gift annuities and charitable trusts which provide the donor an assured income for life at an excellent rate of return.
